First Members Business Meeting announcement

The first General Meeting of the CBBC will be held at the offices of UHY Hacker Young LLP on 24th February 2009 at 6 pm.

Despite the sad death of our patron, Jan Winkler, we have decided to go ahead with the meeting as planned. The CBCC was his brain child and we feel he would want us to continue. This is also the view held by the Czech Embassy.

The purpose of the meeting will be for all members to hear the latest information about the continuing development of the Chamber and, at the same time, the Steering Group would like to reaffirm the Chamber’s objectives and introduce the constitution. At this meeting the Chairman, the Executive Committee and the Honorary President will be elected. A discussion will then follow on the involvement of members with the Chamber as well as the kind of program we envisage for the Chamber.
