The main objective of the visit was to deepen Czech-British relations in the field of digitalization and the digital economy as well as local development, especially with regard to the UK's Levelling-Up Strategy.
As part of his programme, Deputy Prime Minister Bartos visited London, Oxford, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Manchester, where he met with representatives of the Government and public administration, science, academia and business. The Deputy Prime Minister was also accompanied by a sizable business delegation headed by the Czech Chamber of Commerce for whom, on Tuesday 19 September, the Embassy hosted a business forum with their British counterparts in the digital space.
The CBCC members were invited to attend this prestigious event at the Czech Embassy as well.
