ZOO Southside, Edinburgh

Award-winning Czech choreographer Lenka Vagnerová returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025 with her celebrated company and their powerful production PANOPTIKUM.

Known for her unique blend of dance, physical theatre, and strong visual storytelling, Vagnerová has earned international acclaim, including a Herald Angel Award and a Total Theatre Award nomination.

PANOPTIKUM is a haunting and visually rich performance that explores the line between reality and illusion.

The show has received major recognition, winning the Theatre Newspaper Award for concept, direction, and choreography, and earning a nomination for the prestigious Thália Award.

It will take the audience on a journey through a mystical, decadent world inspired by the phenomenon of 19th-century travelling companies that showcased curious objects, exceptional skills, and, above all, unique individuals. It explores themes of power, manipulation, and the fear of the stranger and the unknown.
