Cambridge Central European Conference: Prague Spring and its Legacies

This event commemorates the 50 years since the Prague Spring in Czechoslovakia and the Warsaw Pact invasion in August 1968.

Prague Spring and its Legacies aims to bring attention to the way the cataclysmic events of 1968 have affected the social, cultural and political developments of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This event commemorates the 50 years since the Prague Spring in Czechoslovakia and will include panel discussions with prominent speakers which are to be led in a friendly semi-formal atmosphere. After the discussions, the participants will be invited to a small reception, a showcase of the local food and our cultures.
